It’s been over a year since I made these aprons for my family, and I am just now getting around to writing about it. These were so much fun to do! I bought these sets of fat quarters from JoAnn’s and also from my local fabric store. They came in coordinating bundles, so I didn’t have to do any guesswork when it came to matching the fabrics.
I love how they turned out! The first one I made for myself, far right, took the longest, and needed the most concentration. By the time I was finished with the final apron, I felt like a pro and was able to finish it in about an hour. If you know what you are doing when it comes to sewing, you could make one in under an hour. The best part about these is that they are reversible!
I found this pattern from the blog, Kate Wares. She has so many great ideas. I love browsing around her site! You can go there for complete instructions on how to make these aprons.

Those are very cute! I’ll have to give them a go! I love patterns that call for the use of only fat quarters; they’re generally pretty inexpensive to make!
Thanks! And thanks for following my blog! These were pretty cheap to make. I think I bought each fat quarter set for about 6 dollars each.
These are awesome looking. I might try working on my sewing skills and make one fore me and Luci after Anthony comes. Were they real complicated?
Thanks! I like how the matching is already done for you. I’m a beginner, so if I can do it, I’m sure anyone can! The link to her site gives some good diagrams for cutting each piece. Once you figure it out, it goes smoothly.
